What we can do with your wheels

Every job is quoted on inspection. Send us a photo or bring the wheel in and we'll tell you exactly what it needs.

CNC Diamond-Cut Refinishing

Machined-face wheels re-cut on the lathe to restore the original finish.

What it is
A diamond-cut finish is made by a lathe skimming bare aluminium to leave fine concentric cut lines under a coat of lacquer. It is a machined surface, not a paint effect.
What it fixes
Kerb damage across the machined face, lacquer peel, and the milky corrosion that creeps under a chipped clear coat.
How it’s done
The wheel is mounted on our CNC lathe and the face is cut back to the model's original profile, then re-lacquered. Hand polishing cannot reproduce that geometry — it has to be cut. Every re-cut removes a little metal, so there is a limit to how many times one wheel can go under the tool, and we'll tell you where yours sits.

Wheel Straightening

Buckles and flat spots corrected and trued.

What it is
Hydraulic correction of a rim bent out of round, usually after a pothole or a hard kerb strike.
What it fixes
The vibration and wobble that appears through the steering or the seat once a rim is no longer running true.
How it’s done
The wheel is measured for runout, heated and pressed back true, then re-checked on the machine to confirm it runs straight before anything else happens to it.

Crack & Weld Repair

Repairable cracks TIG welded, dressed and refinished.

What it is
Aluminium TIG welding of a cracked rim, followed by dressing the weld back to the original profile.
What it fixes
Cracks on the back or the middle of the rim lip, which is where impact damage usually shows up.
How it’s done
The crack is ground out, welded, dressed and refinished. Cracks through a spoke are the exception: the spokes carry your cornering and braking loads, and repairing them is not legal. We'll tell you straight if that's what you've got.

Full Refurbishment

Stripped back and rebuilt to a factory-quality finish.

What it is
A complete strip, repair and refinish — one wheel, or a full set brought back to matching condition.
What it fixes
Tired, oxidised, peeling or mismatched wheels that let an otherwise tidy car down.
How it’s done
Tyres off, weights and TPMS sensors removed and set aside, old finish stripped, damage repaired, then primed, coloured, cleared and oven cured.

Colour Changes & Custom Finishes

Gloss, satin, matte, two-tone or machined face with an accent.

What it is
A full change of finish rather than a restoration of the original colour.
What it fixes
Wheels that are structurally sound but wrong for the car — or just due for something different.
How it’s done
We match OEM colours where you want factory-correct, or work to whatever finish you're after. Two-tone and machined-face-with-accent combinations are cut on the lathe, which is what gives them a clean edge.

Gutter Rash & Kerb Damage

The scuffed lip and face made good again.

What it is
Cosmetic repair of the outer lip and face after contact with a kerb or a gutter.
What it fixes
The scraped, torn alloy along the rim edge that catches your eye every time you walk up to the car.
How it’s done
Damage is filled or machined back depending on how deep it runs, then refinished to match the rest of the wheel.

TPMS Handling

Tyre pressure sensors removed, protected and refitted properly.

What it is
Proper care of the tyre pressure monitoring sensors fitted inside most modern wheels.
What it fixes
The dashboard warning light that turns up after a careless wheel refit — and the cost of replacing a sensor that was blasted or painted over.
How it’s done
Sensors come out before stripping, stay clear of blasting and paint, then go back in or get transferred and reset when the wheel returns to the car.
